Dear Fellow PrePharm Students,
Fall is in the air, and it's time for another exciting year of college! My name is Ali Ahmed, and I'm the President of Pre-SCRIPT for the 2008-2009 session. I would like to welcome back all of the previous members, and to extend an even bigger welcome to the new members of the society this year. This year I hope that we can build on the success of last year and continue to make this society an important asset for all students interested in the field of Pharmacy. Pre-SCRIPT was established to enable us to take a dynamic path toward our common career goal. As President, my plans for this year include more involvement from the Pre-SCRIPT members, more volunteer activities, and more opportunities for the provision of information about pharmacy and related fields. I want everyone to feel like they have a unique role in this society and I would like to create projects and events that everyone can enjoy and that every member can be part of. Over the course of time, I hope everyone in our Pre-Pharmacy Society grows close to one another, while simultaneously gaining an active role in our community.
All current students of the University of New Mexico are eligible and invited join. Pre-S.C.R.I.P.T. is not exclusively for pre-pharmacy students. Whether you are someone who is planning to go to pharmacy school, or one who is still undecided about the field, please feel free to drop in on one of our meetings, or contact any of the Pre-S.C.R.I.P.T. officers for more info. I am looking forward to an exciting year together, and hoping for a lot of society involvement from our members! All the best!
